Karen Northup
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Karen founded Corefino after serving as chief financial officer (CFO) at successful, venture-backed technology companies. These include Scout Media, where she served as CFO through the company's successful acquisition by Fox Interactive; Rivals.com, where she recruited and trained a 35-member accounting staff and successfully directed the company through its initial public offering; and Telocity (now DirecTV), where she was instrumental in raising a US$134 million mezzanine round of financing. Karen also held management positions with GlobalCenter, including a key role in its acquisition by Global Crossing, and PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Jason Altieri
Vice President, Partnerships and General Counsel
Jason most recently served as a partner in the corporate group at Mintz Levin, an international law firm of over 500 attorneys. There, he represented a wide range of public and private companies in transactions including private company financings, joint ventures, licenses, employee benefits, public equity and 144A transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and asset sale transactions. He previously served as a partner at Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal, and as an associate with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, PC.
Lisa Dean
Vice President, Sales
Lisa brings over 18 years of direct sales and sales operations experience to Corefino. Prior to joining Corefino Lisa was Vice President of WW Sales for Actuate Corporation’s Java Business Unit where she achieved double digit revenue growth. During her tenure at Actuate, Lisa achieved record sales as Vice President of Corporate Sales in North America where she successfully implemented a repeatable inside sales business model that played an integral part in the company's growth from $20 million to $130 million. Lisa has held executive and management positions in sales and sales operations in companies including Persistence Software, Mentor Graphics, Madge Networks, IBM, and Software Publishing Corporation.
Kerry B. Haley
Chief Operating Officer
Prior to joining Corefino, Kerry served as corporate vice president and general manager for Frontier Mobile, the wireless division of Frontier Communications (NYSE: FTR), and a full-service communications provider in over 900 markets across the United States. There she was responsible for full P&L activities and led the division's strategic, technical, and operational planning and execution. Prior to joining Frontier, Kerry served as vice president of business development for SkyPilot Networks, chief executive officer of Affinity Solutions, and spent 10 years managing domestic and international commercial construction products for Fortune 500 customers, including Bank of America and PG&E.
Lyne Noella
Vice President, Strategic Alliances
Lyne joins Corefino from Stonefield Josephson, an audit, tax, and advisory services firm, where she served as a principal in the Startup & Emerging Companies Group. At Stonefield Josephson, she worked with the management team to create and execute a firm-wide growth strategy that doubled gross revenues in four years. Ms. Noella served as the key alliance principal for the firm, building business opportunities in new and existing markets throughout California. Prior to Stonefield, Ms. Noella served as president of Lyne Noella Marketing, developing strategic consulting and marketing plans for accounting, management consulting, insurance, and other professional service clients. She previously served in chief marketing officer and other management roles in various industries, including biotech and service firms.
Michelle Swenson
Chief Marketing Officer
Prior to Corefino, Michelle served for 20 years in executive positions at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. As chief administrative officer of Schwab Institutional, she managed business-to-business marketing programs, communications, PR, client affinity programs, and other functions for Schwab's fastest-growing business unit. As chief marketing officer of Charles Schwab Investment Management, she developed and launched more than 20 regulated investment funds and grew assets under management by 30 percent per year. She also defined and built the Schwab Center for Investment Research, a division that delivers advice, research, and tools to help individual investors make better investment decisions. As senior vice president of client technology, she was responsible for online product development and marketing.
Thanos Triant
Chief Technology Officer
Thanos serves as Corefino's chief technology officer and brings more than two decades of experience to the company's management team. He is an advisor and investor in numerous technology companies with an emphasis on infrastructure, Software as a Service (SaaS), integration services, and the Internet. He has served in executive positions at Vanstar Corporation, Times Mirror, Sun Microsystems, Standard & Poors (McGraw-Hill), and Data Resources (McGraw-Hill). He has also served as general partner at AltoTech Ventures, a venture fund with early-stage investments in software, services, and communications.
