Karen Watts, Chief Executive Officer
Karen Watts is the founder and CEO of Corefino, a 21st century model for accounting "in the cloud"
via a bundled three-part people-place-thing solution paradigm. Known as a pioneer throughout the Silicon
Valley financial community, Ms. Watts is the first to target a complete solution for strategic CFO's seeking
to radically cut costs by eliminating technology and people redundancies. Her "Triple-C" (Connect-Correct-Comply)
innovation is completely unique to Corefino: a Best Practices/workflow framework that operates with a variety of
Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-based platforms.
Ms. Watts was named to the prestigious "2009 Women of Influence in Silicon Valley" list compiled annually by
the Silicon/Valley San Jose Business Journal.
Prior to Corefino, Ms. Watts served as CFO or acting CFO of several venture-backed technology startups, including
Scout Media Inc. (acquired by Fox Interactive Media in August 2005), Telesuite Inc., Rivals.com and Telocity Inc.
(now DirectTV). She also held key management positions at Frontier GlobalCenter (now a division of Global Crossing)
and Coopers and Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).
Ms. Watts serves on the board of the Children's Hospice and Palliative Care Coalition and is a past board member
of the Rotary International Club of Santa Cruz and Tiffin Company, Inc.
Keith Chreston, Vice President, Finance
Keith Chreston has more than 25 years experience as a senior executive and management consultant. Prior to joining Corefino, Mr. Chreston held key executive and consulting positions with a number of technology start-ups including RSA Security, Cor Therapeutics, SuperMac Technology, and Intuit, among others. He also served in the non-profit sector as the Chief Operating Officer of the East Bay Community Foundation and the Pacific Research Institute for Public Policy. Mr. Chreston began his career as an auditor with Ernst & Young. He is a certified public accountant and received his MBA degree from St. Mary's College
Judith Rothrock, Chief Marketing Officer
A 20+-year marketing executive and the winner of more than 10 U.S. and international marketing awards, Ms. Rothrock is the former corporate head of marketing for Hyperion Software, Lawson Software, Ceridian; the former SVP of Sales and CMO of Prescient Markets (now SunGard), and has served as the acting CMO or chief strategist for more than two dozen software and networking companies via a global consultancy business. Ms. Rothrock also spent six years as a reporter for two daily metro New York City newspapers, plus held PR positions for both ExxonMobil and New York City's Ruder Finn Public Relations, then the largest independent PR agency in the world. Her management experience extends to both global and U.S. domestic operations.
